The Hamburg Sea Devils made a decision about the next roster spot. Wide receiver Jakob Neugebauer has extended his contract with the team from northern Germany.

"Something is brewing up in the north. Watch us put Hamburg back on the map," says Neugebauer. The 26-year-old is now entering his third season in the ELF. He previously played one season each with the Sea Devils and Rhein Fire.

In his 22 games, eight of which he started, he caught 38 passes for 623 yards and three touchdowns.

Neugebauer began his football career with the Aachen Vampires in 2018. After two years, he moved to the Cologne Crocodiles. In 2023, he made the step-up to the ELF.
