Saturday’s Top Performer: Rhein Fire Defense

The top performer of the day is usually an individual award. However, after today it only seems right to give it to an entire unit.

The Rhein Fire defense blazed hot when the team needed them most. The Vienna Vikings were shut out in the fourth quarter as the Fire scored a defensive touchdown and came up clutch with the game on the line with under two minutes to go. 

Linebacker Marius Kensy put a huge hit on Vikings quarterback Ben Holmes for a sack and a forced fumble. Rhein Fire defender Lino Schroter picked up the ball and scored a touchdown giving the Fire a massive 7 point lead.
