Rhein Fire sign former XFL defensive back Darrius Nash
Chris Hahn

Last year's ELF champion Rhein Fire have signed their second A-Import on defense in former XFL defensive back Darrius Nash. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Nash redshirted at Dixie State while transferring to Utah Tech - being a four-year starter afterward. In a total of 47 games, Nash had 13.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, four interceptions, four forced fumbles and 130 solo tackles.
A deadly secondary duo
In 2023, the US-American was drafted by the Las Vegas Vipers into the XFL, not seeing the field last year. Now, he takes his talent to Europe and the ELF. Having re-signed Omari Williams, he and Nash could form one of the best US-secondary duos. Nash: "I am extremely blessed and excited to be a part of a great organization. I'm all in ready to ball and bring another Championship to the city."
