After several players left Rhein Fire in the offseason, the current ELF champions presented a new quarterback. However, Chad Jeffries still needs to be protected on the field. Sven Breidenbach will continue to take on this task in the upcoming season.

The 35-year-old offensive tackle and two-time ELF All-Star signs a new contract until 2025. Breidenbach played an important role in the line that was responsible for the ELF's best running offense last season. 

Breidenbach, who has been part of the team since 2022, therefore also played his part in Rhein Fire being crowned the first back-to-back ELF champions.
