As we approach the final weeks of the 2024 European League of Football season, several records are still within reach. Here's a look at some of the key milestones that could be broken this year.

Wide receivers chasing history

The all-time receiving leader in the ELF is currently Jean Constant, who racked up 2,824 receiving yards while playing for the Milano Seamen last season. This year, five wide receivers have a shot at surpassing his record. Louis Geyer, Reece Horn, Malik Stanley, Markell Castle, and Nathaniell Robitaille are all within striking distance.

Louis Geyer is the frontrunner, needing just 165 more yards to surpass Constant. With three games left to play, Geyer is in a prime position to become the new receiving leader.

Homegrown Hero

From the perspective of homegrown players, Milan Spiller is a standout. The Swiss rookie wide receiver for the Helvetic Mercenaries is on track to become the first European player to reach 1,000 receiving yards in a regular season. Currently the fourth-best receiver with 835 yards, Spiller needs 165 more yards to hit the milestone. With tough matchups against the Munich Ravens and Stuttgart Surge ahead, Spiller's pursuit of 1,000 yards will be one to watch.

Defensive backs eyeing interception record

The all-time interception leader, Goran Zec, holds the record with 13 interceptions. This season, Omari Williams has already tied Zec’s record. The big question is whether Williams can snag another interception to become the sole record holder. Additionally, Maceo Beard and Roedion Henrique are also in the running, hoping to claim the interception title for themselves.

Tackling the tackle record

A.J. Wentland of the Wroclaw Panthers is on the hunt to break his own record for the most tackles in a season. In 2022, Wentland recorded an incredible 160 tackles. This year, he's 40 tackles away from breaking his own record, with three games left. Averaging 13.3 tackles per game, Wentland is on pace to set a new benchmark.

Sacks in sight

Kyle Kitchens is also aiming to surpass his own record for the most sacks in a season. Kitchens set the record with 16 sacks in 2022. This season, he already has 14 sacks with two games remaining. Kitchens has a strong chance to break his own record and further cement his legacy.
