Barcelona Dragons (2-8) at Munich Ravens (7-3)

Final: 0:90

The Munich Ravens protect their playoff hopes with a record-breaking victory against the Barcelona Dragons. No team in ELF history has ever been able to beat their opponent higher. Partly due to a lack of concentration and penalties, the Barcelona Dragons had no chance.

The home team from Munich did what has made them strong for weeks: they ran the ball. The Ravens ended up with 264 rushing yards. Running back Justin Rodney stood out and contributed 111 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

A strong run game also opens up some opportunities in the passing game. Quarterback Chad Jeffries was able to complete a number of deadly play-action passes. For example, a long 77-yard pass to wideout Malik Stanley that ended the game with a total of 140 yards and two touchdowns.

The Dragons never really got into the game. Also because many mistakes, sacks and lack of concentration repeatedly shifted the momentum to the Ravens' side. This included a high snap in the first quarter, which put the game in a clear direction early on.

The Munich Ravens still clearly on course for the play-offs. Next week, the team travels to Switzerland to face the Helvetic Mercenaries. The Dragons are also playing on the road to face Stuttgart Surge.

Paris Musketeers (8-2) at Cologne Centurions (4-6)

Final: 57:7

As there was no catering last week and to celebrate the historic comeback against Frankfurt Galaxy, free beer was served in Cologne. A consolation prize for the fans of the Cologne Centurions, who had to watch their team suffer a clear defeat.

The home team got off to the much better start. The Paris Musketeers on the other hand struggled to get into the game. Quarterback star Zachary Edwards did not get off to a good start in the passing game. He completed less than 50 percent of his passes in the first quarter.

That didn't stop the 26-year-old from a clear explosion in performance. The QB ended up with 441 passing yards and five touchdowns. He also ran for 30 yards and a touchdown himself. The strong connection to wide receiver Remi Bertellin also sent the Musketeers back on the road to success. The wideout collected 206 yards and two touchdowns. With a total of 215 yards, the rushing unite around Chris Voumbo was also on fire.

Centurion's QB Weed had a difficult day with two interceptions. Again and again, the agile signal caller had to move into the running game. In Cologne's defense, linebacker Max Forsback stood out in particular, intercepting a ball and forcing a fumble in addition to several tackles.

With the win, the Museteers protect their good playoff spot. In week 13 they face the Madrid Bravos. Cologne's defeat means they now have no chance of making the playoffs anymore. Next week they will face the Hamburg Sea Devils.
