The Munich Ravens extend the contract with their most successful pass rusher. Johannes Zirngibl will continue to pressure quarterbacks for the Ravens in the coming season.

“Johannes is not only a role model on the field, but also a true leader in the locker room”, comments Ravens General Manager Sean Shelton. He adds: “His energy and dedication are invaluable to our team, and we're thrilled that he's staying loyal to Munich”

As a starter, Zirngibl is one of the stars of the Ravens defense. He led his team with nine sacks last season. He also had 14.5 tackles for loss, which resulted in a total loss of 116 yards for the opponent. 

The 25-year-old Zirngibl made his debut for the German team in 2023. In his first ELF year, he recorded 5.5 sacks and 16 tackles for loss.
