Ravens leading rusher stays! Rodney extends contract
The Munich Ravens extend their contract with running back Justin Rodney. This means that an important part of the offense remains in place. After all, the 29-year-old led his team in rushing yards last season.
Rodney played a big part in helping the Munich Ravens to have a top-10 rushing offense last season. The Homegrown can look back on a break-out year. In eleven games, he had 127 rushing attempts for 875 yards and six touchdowns. His longest rush was for an impressive 80 yards. He also caught 16 passes for 183 yards and two touchdowns.
"Justin brings not only exceptional athleticism and speed but also a highly professional attitude", says Ravens General Manager Sean Shelton. He adds: "His consistency and drive to excellence make him an invaluable asset to our team. We’re thrilled to have him continue representing our colors next season!“
With his extension, the experienced Rodney is facing his fifth ELF season. For the first two, he played for Frankfurt Galaxy. In 2023, he moved to the Ravens.
