With a 42-28 victory against the Helvetic Mercenaries, the Raiders Tirol recorded their sixth win of the season. The Austrian franchise currently has a 6-3 record and would therefore be guaranteed a place in the playoffs.

Next week, they will face the still unbeaten Stuttgart Surge in one of the top matchups of the week. “There were a few ups and downs in the game, but we fought hard and got the win. We don't have to change much for the upcoming game against Stuttgart, we just have to play our best game and play error-free, without penalties and turnovers", quarterback N'Kosi Perry said after the game.

Head coach Jim Herrmann was also delighted after the win against the Mercenaries, also pointing out, that Tirol was fielding many young and new faces. Overall, he was satisfied.

For defensive player Tim Unger, however, there was still room for improvement, especially when looking at the matchup next weekend. “I'm not really satisfied today, we made too many mistakes defensively.

We have to do better and get our standards back. We have to play better against Stuttgart. We want to create more turnovers than them and also eliminate the small mistakes,” he said.
