Raiders re-sign former Rookie of the Year Marco Schneider

The Raiders Tirol make an important decision for their receiving room. The contract with wide receiver Marco Schneider has been extended for another year.

“Every time Marco touches the ball, something great is about to happen“, says Raiders General Manager Ulz Däuber. He adds: “However, is admiring his tenacity when he doesn’t have the ball in his hands. Marci is such a selfless player who works so hard to make everyone around him to be successful.”

Schneider, who has been playing for the Raiders since 2022, is also delighted. “I am very happy and hyped to get the opportunity to be a part of the Raiders ELF 2025 team. I'll do everything in my power to reach next year's Championship game. We will be prepared! Go Raiders!”

Right in his first year, Schneider was completely convincing. The Homegrown started every game of the season, catching 41 passes for 629 yards and eight touchdowns. Numbers that even earned him the Rookie of the Year award. Since then, the now 23-year-old has been an important part of the Raiders offense.

A part that fans can also look forward to in the coming season. The Raiders narrowly missed out on the playoffs and are therefore hungry for another chance.
