Raiders: Offensive Tackle Oscar Strömstedt extends for another season

The Raiders Tirol continue working to keep their offensive line together. Tackle Oscar Strömstedt extends for another season.

The Raiders' O-line was probably one of the team's biggest surprises last season. A few weeks before the start of the season, it seemed rather improvised. But offensive line coach Charles Eger, who also only arrived a few weeks before the start of the season, formed a true unit.

Strömstedt was also part of this. The 25-year-old Swedish player appeared in ten league games, eight of which he started.

"In 2024 Oscar worked himself into an integral part of our Offensive Line", says Raiders General Manager Ulz Däuber. He continues: "It was amazing to see him grow and get better every single day. Building on that experience, Oscar will continue to be a steady rock on our OL and dominate."

Strömstedt is also happy to stay: "I am incredibly grateful to have been given the opportunity to come back to beautiful Tirol. We are ready to be a dominant force this season. Can’t wait to be back in Tivoli and see all you fans!"

Strömstedt began his football career in 2020 with the Tyresö Royal Crowns. He then spent two years with the Seinäjoki Crocodile before joining the Raiders in 2024.
