Playoff picture after Week 13: Who's in and who's not?
Cara Iden

As the European League of Football heads into the final week of regular season, Week 13 brought some changes to the playoff picture. With all four divisions decided now and several teams making strong statements, the race for the postseason is heating up. Here's a breakdown of where things stand after an action-packed weekend.
Semi-Finalists
#1 Vienna Vikings (10-1)
Once again, the Vienna Vikings rule the field. With a win over the Wroclaw Panthers, they maintained their grip on the top seed in the playoff picture. With two contenders close behind, they will need to deliver another top performance against Paris next Saturday to hold on to their position. For now, though, if the season ended today, they would head straight to the semifinals and enjoy a home-field advantage.
#2 Munich Ravens (10-1)
The Munich Ravens have done it again, pulling off a late win. In a heart-stopping finale, the team from Bavaria turned the game around to defeat the Madrid Bravos 30–27. With a 10–1 record and a run of eight straight wins, they are showing that they can beat anyone right now.

Wildcard Round
#6 Paris Musketeers (7-4) at #3 Nordic Storm (10-1)
The Paris Musketeers have proven their playoff ambitions with a dominant win over the still winless Cologne Centurions. Thanks to their victory and the Madrid Bravos' loss, the Musketeers now hold a playoff seed. If the playoffs started today, they would face Nordic Storm, who, after weak performances in recent weeks and their first loss in Week 11, have gotten back on track with a win over the Hamburg Sea Devils.
#5 Rhein Fire (7-4) at #4 Stuttgart Surge (9-2)
The Stuttgart Surge keep their momentum strong. With a strong victory over the Cologne Centurions, they secured their fifth consecutive win and clinched the West Division. Facing easier opposition than their rivals, the Stuttgart Surge look to secure a better playoff seed by beating the Fehérvár Enthroners. At the moment, they would host Rhein Fire in the first round of the playoffs. After a slow start to the season, the defending champions have not only delivered strong performances in recent weeks but also proven themselves as serious contenders in the playoffs.
In the hunt
The playoff picture isn't set yet. Despite a 6-5 record, the Prague Lions are already out of playoff contention following their loss to Frankfurt, due to the Strength of Victory regulation applied in determining the final rankings. The Madrid Bravos and Frankfurt Galaxy are still alive, meaning four teams are fighting for the final two playoff spots. Each team will need its best performance in the final week to reach the playoffs. With crucial games coming up next weekend – including Paris Musketeers face the Vienna Vikings, Madrid Bravos vs. Frankfurt Galaxy, and Nordic Storm at Rhein Fire – fans can expect excitement until the very end.
