Playoff picture after Week 10: Who’s in and who’s not?
Felix Pahl

The race for the playoffs is heating up in the European League of Football. After Week 10, only two teams have officially secured their spot in the postseason: the Nordic Storm and the Vienna Vikings. With strong results and surprising performances, other teams are now pushing hard to join them and fight for a place in the Championship Game at Stuttgart’s MHP Arena on September 7.
Let’s take a closer look at the playoff picture after Week 10.
Semi-Finalists
#1 Nordic Storm (9-0)
The Nordic Storm remain unbeaten after a dominant Week 10 win against Berlin Thunder. They were also officially awarded the win for their earlier canceled game against the Helvetic Mercenaries, giving them a perfect 9-0 record. With that, they’ve clinched the North Division and currently hold the #1 seed in the playoffs.
#2 Vienna Vikings (8-1)
The Vienna Vikings slide down one spot to the #2 seed, even after a strong win over the Wroclaw Panthers. That’s due to the Storm’s newly confirmed victory. Still, the Vikings have also secured a playoff spot and are only one win away from officially clinching the East Division.

Wildcard Round
#6 Rhein Fire at #3 Munich Ravens
This would be a must-watch matchup. Rhein Fire got back into the playoff picture after a solid win over the Hamburg Sea Devils. The Munich Ravens, meanwhile, defeated the Raiders Tirol in a tight game. But like the Vikings, they were also pushed down one spot due to the Storm’s updated record and now sit at #3.
#5 Madrid Bravos at #4 Stuttgart Surge
The Bravos continue their strong season. With an impressive performance in Week 10, they now have six wins and move back into the playoff spots. The Stuttgart Surge beat the Paris Musketeers in a statement win and are in a great position to win the West Division. In fact, they could already clinch the division in Week 11 with a win and a Musketeers loss.
Still wide open
There are still four playoff spots up for grabs - and many teams are still in the race. Teams like the Paris Musketeers, Prague Lions, and Raiders Tirol need to win key games in the final stretch to stay in the hunt. Every game from now on could make the difference between making the playoffs or watching from home.
One thing is clear: the final weeks of the ELF regular season will be full of drama, surprises, and must-see football.
