Panthers sign D-Liner Jordan Scanlan from the GFL

After the Wroclaw Panthers already made some changes in their coaching staff at the beginning of the offseason, the team now welcomes a new player. Jordan Scanlan will strengthen the Panthers' D-Line for next season.

The 6'6 defender signed a contract until the end of 2025. Scanlan was born in New Zealand and already played in Europe for the New Yorker Lions last season. After spending time in the German Football League, now he made the step into the European League of Football.

"I’m incredibly excited to be part of the Panthers family and to meet the residents of Wrocław and the Polish people. I believe that with the right pieces – from players to coaches – 2025 will be a great year for us", the player said.

Scanlan originally played rugby in his home country and discovered football during his time at university in Brisbane. He actually wanted to be a running back. However, because of his physique, his first coach put him in the D-line, a position that Scanlan loves today.
