NFL to ELF: Are Sinnett and Cruickshank ELF’s best new duo?

While we have seen players with all types of background having success in the ELF, there is simply no substitute for experience at the highest level of the game. 

For the Madrid Bravos, both quarterback Reid Sinnett and receiver Aron Cruickshank spent time in the NFL. Cruickshank was a dynamic receiver and return man in college before spending time with the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers, while his quarterback Reid Sinnett spent several seasons in the NFL playing for various teams. 

So far through four games with the Madrid Bravos both players haven't shown any kind of adjustment difficulties to the ELF.

League leading stats

Sinnett is the league's top passer with 15 touchdowns and 1,431 yards while throwing only 3 interceptions. The former Philadelphia Eagle is second in the league with a 131.80 QBR, running-up only to veteran and former MVP Jadrian Clark. 

A huge part of the Bravos successful passing game has of course been due to fellow ELF "Rookie" Aron Cruickshank. The former Rutgers and Wisconsin receiver has quickly built chemistry with Sinnett as he currently leads the league in catches (38) and yards (681) with 5 touchdowns. 

The explosive quarterback and receiver duo has been one of the keys to Madrid’s success as they currently hold a 3-1 record. 

The next challenge

Next weekend they face a tough opponent as they travel to Tirol to take on the 2-2 Raiders in a crucial South Division matchup. Let’s see if the ELF’s hottest new duo can continue its scorching production against a tough Tirol secondary.
