Shortly before the start of the 2024 season, the European League of Football announces further top-class media houses for the worldwide live broadcast. While the fourth season kicks off on the weekend of May 25/26, the first free TV matches for the German market have been confirmed. There will be a highlight on ProSieben on the very first match day.

Broader shoulders for the sport

“The European League of Football is entering its fourth season and is attracting more and more interest from all over the world. The international appeal shows the success we have already achieved three years after its foundation,” says Zeljko Karajica, Managing Director of the European League of Football. “With our TV partners, we are putting our beloved sport on even broader media shoulders!”

In Germany, the Seven. One Entertainment Group, a renowned media company, is on board as a TV partner and will broadcast the first game of last year's finalists Stuttgart Surge on the main channel ProSieben. They will face the Munich Ravens on Sunday, May 26, at 4 PM. in the PreZero Arena in Sinsheim. However, the ELF season will be opened on ProSiebenMaxx at 1 PM by 2023 champion Rhein Fire and the Cologne Centurions from the Aachen Tivoli. Another game will be available live every Saturday via ran.de. From the semi-finals onwards, ProSieben will broadcast all matches on its main channel. All ELF matches will also be available via Joyn+. Fans can also watch all matches via SportDeutschlandTV.

Growing internationally

Austria is another key market for the pan-European league with two TV partnerships. While PULS24 is expanding its American football program for 2024 with the broadcast of ELF games of the Vienna Vikings and Raiders Tirol live on JOYN & PULS 24 between the end of May and September, another strong media partner is also on board, which will be announced shortly.

As of this year, beIN Sport is not only a proud partner of the NFL, but also of the European League of Football. With this strategic partnership, beIN Sports establishes itself as the ultimate destination for football fans in France and earns the title “Home of Football”. Fans can look forward to comprehensive coverage, exciting matches and exclusive content that will take the football experience in France to a new level.

Fast Channels and global markets

While O2 Sport offers fans in the Czech Republic and Slovakia direct access to Prague Lions games, Polsat is the exclusive partner for broadcasting all Panthers games in Poland. In Switzerland, TV24 will also broadcast all games involving Switzerland on free-to-air TV over the next three years. In addition to the ELF International Game in Šibenik, Croatia, the best football league in Europe will also be available in the rest of the Balkans in future.

A strong partnership with LaLiga+ has also been established in Spain. The ELF 24/7 FAST Channel, which was launched this season, will also be available in Spain for the first time in the 2024 season. There are also plans to expand into the Spanish-speaking markets of Latin and South America.

Global markets will also be included to a greater extent. Expansion into the US market, Turkey and Scandinavia is already in preparation.

All 107 games of the European League of Football will also be presented in the European League of Football Game Pass, which can be found at gamepass.europeanleague.football. For the first time this year, the Game Pass offers a conference call for simultaneous matches as well as a 24/7 channel and exclusive documentary formats.
