Munich stuns Madrid with late comeback victory

The Munich Ravens pulled off a sensational comeback against the Madrid Bravos, securing a 43–40 victory in Madrid in Week 8. Trailing 26–9 at halftime, the Ravens erupted in the third quarter with three unanswered touchdowns, taking a 29–26 lead. The fourth quarter saw a thrilling end: Munich added two more touchdowns before Madrid briefly regained the lead, but a final Ravens score just 83 seconds from the end sealed the game.

Munich Ravens quarterback Russell Tabor orchestrated the comeback with pinpoint accuracy, going 21 out of 31, 264 passing yards and three passing touchdowns while adding 53 rushing yards on nine scramlbes and a score on the ground. The former "Top Performer" of Week 6 showed again what he can do as a man under center for the Ravens in the European League of Football.
On the other hand, Madrid Bravos quarterback Reid Sinnett had a great game of his own with 35 out of 43 passes completed for a whopping 426 passing yards and four passing touchdowns. Two of his four passing touchdowns were caught by his favorite target Cruickshank who already broke the 1,000 yard mark this season.
How did the Bravos lose the game?
Madrid controlled the first half behind strong offensive production, 26 points versus only nine points produced by the Ravens. However, the second half proved to be the opposite of the poles. Despite the Bravos' early dominance, their lead evaporated as Munich matched them yard-for-yard and more than point for point in the third and fourth quarter. The Ravens’ balanced attack, with 256 passing and 176 rushing yards, allowed them to sustain long drives and wear down Madrid’s defense.
This pivotal victory keeps Munich at the top of the Central Conference, improving to 6–1. While Madrid falls to 4–3 in the Western Conference- The high-scoring finish highlights both offensive firepowers and clutch resilience. An already true classic in European League of Football this season.
