Munich Ravens sign American defensive back with NFL experience

The Munich Ravens have found another playmaker on defense!

The Munich Ravens have announced the signing of Joshua Flowers, a promising defensive back with NFL experience. The young defender previously played for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Flowers brings a wealth of talent and a proven track record to his new team in Munich.

Sports Director of the Munich Ravens Sean Shelton expressed his enthusiasm for the new addition: "Joshua [Flowers], or 'Jah' as everyone calls him, is exactly the kind of athletic cornerback we've been looking for. He plays the game with the toughness and physicality we love. We are very excited to have a player of his caliber join our team."

Flowers himself is eager to embrace this new chapter in his career. "The Munich Ravens are giving me the chance to live my dream. Their vision and goals align with mine. I will give my all for my team," he stated, signaling his commitment and determination to succeed in Europe. This move marks Flowers' first foray into European football, following stints with the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL and the B.C. Lions in the Canadian Football League after concluding his college career in 2022.

Before turning professional, Flowers showcased his abilities at LIU and later at Winston-Salem State University, where he was ranked among the top 40 players at HBCU universities across America. His college career was distinguished by numerous accolades, including invitations to the HBCU Legacy Bowl, All CIAA-Team honors, All-American recognition in the NE-10 Conference, and a NE-10 Championship victory.

With a college record of 130 tackles, 25 pass deflections, 12 interceptions, and 2 forced fumbles, Flowers' achievements speak volumes about his talent and promise. With the addition of the young defender, the Ravens now slowly but steadily have built a dangerous defense for the upcoming season.
