Munich Ravens set their sights on a world record

The Munich Ravens are stepping off the football field and into a different kind of competition. On October 26, 2025, the team will join forces with extreme athletes Julia and Stephanie, better known as the SquatTwins, to attempt an official Guinness World Record in the Sled Push. Their ambitious goal: to move more than one million kilograms within twelve hours - and bring the record home to Munich.

A record-breaking challenge

The current world record stands at 864,736 kilograms, set by twelve elite British soldiers. The Ravens and the SquatTwins aim to surpass that mark by a wide margin, pushing their bodies and minds to the limit in what promises to be an extraordinary endurance feat.

The event will take place at the PACE Club in Munich (Stuttgarter Str. 7, 80807 München) and will be open to spectators throughout the day. During the challenge, participants will repeatedly push a weighted sled over a fixed distance. The total moved weight will be calculated by multiplying the distance by the load - meaning every meter counts over the twelve-hour effort.

Team effort meets experience

Ten Munich Ravens players will take part in the record attempt, joining forces with the SquatTwins, who bring a wealth of world record experience to the table. Having already set ten Guinness World Records, the twins have never failed in a challenge and are determined to keep their perfect record intact in Munich.

The Ravens see the event as an opportunity to showcase teamwork and determination beyond the football field. As one team representative put it, the attempt is "about proving what focus, unity, and mental strength can achieve - both in sports and in life."

Pushing for a good cause

The record attempt isn’t just about strength - it’s also about giving back. The challenge will support a charity initiative in aid of the RTL Children’s Foundation, with all proceeds going directly to the organization.
