The Milano Seamen have made another step in the development of the franchise. As the only franchise from Italy announced, they have acquired the work of Jon Gruden as advisor, former Super Bowl-winning head coach of the Tempa Bay Buccaneers. The 60-year-old has previously worked for the Las Vegas Raiders, Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles or Green Bay Packers in the NFL.

Working with the coaching staff

"We’re excited to announce that American football legend, Jon Gruden, will work with us as an advisor. Gruden won the 2002 Super Bowl with Tampa Bay, becoming the youngest head coach to win it. Gruden will help us to improve our organization in every aspect. He already started to work with our coaching staff", the Seamen explained.

Gruden isn’t the only Super Bowl-winning head coach involved in the ELF. Another one is Gary Kubiak. The three-time Super Bowl-winner is an advisor of the Panthers Wrocław and in close contact with the team since 2022.
