With the surprising signing of NFL veteran Keelan Cole, the Helvetic Mercenaries have further raised expectations for the upcoming season in the Eureopean League of Football. To ensure that quarterback Isaiah Weed gets plenty of time to find his new star receiver, the Swiss have now made an addition to their offensive line.

The Mercenaries have signed a promising player in Aleksi Närhi. The 22-year-old Finn played five years for the Helsinki Roosters, with whom he became Maple League champion in 2024.

He also won the bronze medal with Finland at the 2021 European Championships and the silver medal in 2023.
