Stuttgart Surge’s Rushing Defense vs. Raiders Tirol’s Running Game

Homegrown superstar Tobias Bonatti has been on a tear of the Raider this season, racking up 720 yards and 13 touchdowns. Tirol’s offense leans heavily on the run game and Bonatti. The veteran ball carrier was held to only 28 yards in the last matchup against Stuttgart as the Raiders narrowly lost at home. This time out, Bonnati, Perry, and Tirol will need to get the run game going on the road if they want to upset the Surge.

Paris’s Austin Mitchell vs. Cologne’s Bijon Harris

Mitchell has proved to be Zach Edwards' top target this season racking up 644 yards and 9 touchdowns. Last week against the Berlin Thunder the speedy import put up 162 yards and four touchdowns, as the Musketeers came back to win a crucial road game. This Sunday, Mitchell will be matched up against one of the league’s top corners in Cologne Bijon Harris who has 4 interceptions and 10 pass deflections in only 6 games this season.

Wroclaw's Running Game vs. Berlin’s Defense & Kyle Kitchens

The Panthers surprised many experts two weeks ago running for 206 yards against the Enthroners and earning a blowout win in their last outing. One key matchup to watch in this one how superstar Kyle Kitchens and the Thunder can stop the Panthers running game. If Kitchens can wreak havoc in the backfield and hold the Panthers to under 200 yards rushing, Berlin should be able to earn another Eastern Conference win.

Frankfurt’s Jamalcolm Liggins vs Madrid’s Willie Patterson

Galaxy cornerback Jamalcolm Liggins looks to shut down Bravos receiver Willie Patterson in what could be a fascinating matchup to watch in this Western Conference matchup on Saturday. Patterson has racked up 732 yards and five scores, good for top ten in the league, while Liggins has two interceptions and 7 pass break ups. The two imports look to square off one on one often come Saturday evening in Frankfurt.
