The Vienna Vikings and Rhein Fire are set to meet on September 22nd for the ELF Championship. Nick Alfieri and Matt Bressington broke down the Championship matchup on today's episode of "ELF Live". The hosts had quick chats with Rhein Fire players Kelvin McKnight Jr and Marloshawn Franklin Jr, along with Vienna Vikings receiver Reece Horn. 

"Definitely a classic game"

Rhein Fire defensive back Marloshawn Franklin Jr spoke on the win over the Surge in the Semifinals: "It was a very cool game, unlike any other game I've had with the Fire, definitely a classic game. The Surge came out to play and it was a ball game from the beginning to the end. It went down to the wire and felt like a heavyweight fight."

Rhein Fire wide receiver Kelvin McKnight Jr: "The key for us was holding each other accountable. Everyone was locking and not trying to be a hero. Ball security was the first priority with the wet weather. We really took it play by play: If it's five yards - take it, if it's seventy yards - take it."

The preparation for the big game on September 22 has already started. Marloshawn Franklin Jr: "We've been watching film, preparing. They've got some playmakers but I'm excited to see how my guys can match up. They are a great team. They wouldn't be here if they weren't."
