Mamadou Sy stays with the Paris Musketeers

The Paris Musketeers have secured one of their key defensive players for another season. Mamadou Sy, an ELF veteran who has played in the league since its first season in 2021, will continue to be part of the Musketeers' defensive line in 2025.
Sy began his ELF career with the Frankfurt Galaxy, where he played in 2021 and 2022, before moving to Paris. He is considered one of the top defensive tackles in the league—not necessarily because of his stats, but because of the impact he has in every game.
A steady force in the trenches
In the 2024 season, Sy played in all 12 games and recorded 18 tackles, 2 sacks, and 2.5 tackles for loss. His consistency and physical presence on the field make him a valuable part of the Musketeers’ defense.
With Sy returning, Paris hopes to build on last season’s success. The Musketeers reached the semifinals in 2024 but were stopped by the Vienna Vikings. Now, with their veteran defensive tackle back in the lineup, they’ll aim to go even further in 2025.
