Madrid Bravos and Miami Dolphins announce long-term partnership

The Madrid Bravos have entered into a long-term strategic partnership with NFL team Miami Dolphins to help promote American football and flag football across Spain.
The agreement supports the Bravos’ efforts to expand the sport’s reach, strengthen community engagement, and contribute to the long-term development of football at both grassroots and professional levels.
Supporting development from grassroots to professional stage
The Miami Dolphins are one of three NFL teams with official commercial rights in Spain. Through this partnership, the Dolphins will expand their international initiatives, while the Bravos take another step in becoming a central hub for football development in Southern Europe.
The project includes several key areas, starting with the expansion of flag football - a discipline that will debut at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. Working together, the Bravos and Dolphins will bring flag football into schools and clubs, helping young athletes discover the sport at an early age.
Additionally, the partnership will support a variety of community events such as the Mama Bowl and Olympic Day, which aim to encourage family participation and promote inclusion. The agreement also includes logistical support and brand activations to strengthen the Dolphins’ presence in Spain.

A shared vision for football in Spain
"This partnership represents a decisive step in the growth of American football in Spain and reinforces the position of the Madrid Bravos as a gateway for NFL teams into an emerging market like Spain," said Jaime Martín, General Manager of the Madrid Bravos.
He emphasized the importance of working with one of the most iconic franchises in the NFL and highlighted the shared ambition of developing future generations of players and bringing the sport closer to fans.
Felipe Formiga, Vice President of International Business Development for the Miami Dolphins, added: "We are proud of this partnership with the Madrid Bravos. The Bravos have done an incredible job driving the growth of American football in Spain."
He noted the strong engagement from Spanish fans in recent years, especially during the Junior Dolphins clinics, and underlined the Dolphins’ ongoing commitment to Spain and its football community.

The initiative "From Miami to Madrid: Building the Future of Football" brings together a wide range of activities designed to accelerate the sport’s development:
- Grassroots Flag Football Program: Introducing the sport to schools and clubs, increasing participation among boys and girls, and training coaches and teachers.
- Community Events: Supporting programs that promote inclusion, female participation, and family engagement.
- Logistics & Operations: Providing ongoing support for storing, organizing, and executing Dolphins brand activations in Spain.
- Talent and Content Exchange: Collaboration between players, staff, and media teams from both organizations to create unique content and joint activities.
