Prague Lions @ Helvetic Mercenaries - 60:20
The Prague Lions kept their playoff hopes alive with a dominant 60-20 win over the Helvetic Mercenaries, earning their sixth victory of the season and building momentum for the final stretch.
Explosive start for the Lions
Prague couldn’t have asked for a better opening. After forcing a quick three-and-out, William Patterson returned the ensuing punt for a touchdown. Moments later, defensive back Ken Hike Jr. added to the early lead with a pick-six, giving the Lions a double-digit advantage in the blink of an eye.
Mercenaries fight back, but Lions pull away
The Mercenaries responded with two consecutive touchdown drives to tie the game, showing resilience after the rough start. However, the Lions quickly shifted into another gear. With their offense now fully clicking, Prague dominated the rest of the half, going into the break with a 32-14 lead.

Rushing attack and more defensive dominance
In the second half, Prague leaned on their ground game and broke the game wide open, scoring three rushing touchdowns in the third quarter. Defensive lineman Jakub Smutny added another pick-six, making it a long day for the Mercenaries.
The only bright spot for Helvetic came from ELF superstar Devan Burrell, who electrified the crowd with a 90-yard fake punt touchdown, but it wasn’t enough to spark a comeback.
Standout performers
Quarterback Javarian Smith was excellent, contributing four total touchdowns, while running back Adam Zouzelka added 128 rushing yards and two touchdowns on just 10 carries, showing off his explosiveness.
What’s next
Both teams now head into their bye week to regroup before the crucial final stretch. In Week 13, the Prague Lions will host the surging Frankfurt Galaxy in what could be a season-defining matchup, while the Helvetic Mercenaries travel to face the Paris Musketeers.
