The Leipzig Kings are in full off-season mode. After already signing their new defensive coordinator Richard Kent and several players like Lance Leota and Aslan Zetterberg, the next man up is homegrown giant Max Bruder. The offensive lineman came from the third division club Leipzig Lions and impressed just by his size. With 2,13m and 139 kg, the massive athlete is a prototype for every offensive line-coach. Despite playing just some games in the season, the educated kindergarten teacher impressed NFL scouts with his frame and received an invitation to the NFL International Combine in London in October. A huge step for Bruder. "I work as a trained kindergarten teacher, which is a responsible job. My two supervisors were so incredibly kind and cooperative, they even rewrote the schedules for me so I could consistently attend Kings practice and away games." he mentioned in an article.

A local hero returns to Leipzig, who try to re-write their story in - as it currently appears - one of the strongest Conferences the European League of Football has to offer.
