Jadrian Clark joins UWE Bullets as offensive coordinator

Quarterback Jadrian Clark has announced his return to the University of the West of England, where he will take over as Offensive Coordinator for the UWE Bullets. UWE confirmed the move, noting that Clark will take over from long-time play-caller Frankie Pankhurst while also continuing his doctoral studies at the university.

Clark, who previously played for the Bullets following his 2023 season with Rhein Fire, expressed his enthusiasm for the role. "I'm excited to return to a program that constantly pushes the limits of what's possible for football in the UK," he said. "Stepping into the OC role is an exciting new challenge. I'm committed to helping this team win football games and mentoring our players on and off the field."

The appointment marks another milestone in a remarkable career. Clark has been one of the most consistent and successful quarterbacks in the European League of Football, winning back-to-back championships with Rhein Fire in 2023 and 2024. He was named league MVP in 2023 and earned Championship Game MVP honors in 2024.

In 2025, Clark signed with the new franchise Nordic Storm. In their ELF debut campaign, the Storm captured the North Division title and reached the semifinals, coming up short against the Vienna Vikings. Despite the defeat, the season was widely seen as a major success for the newcomers, with Clark playing a central role in their quick climb. 

Alongside his playing career, Clark has built strong ties to UWE. He completed his Master's degree at the university in the summer of 2025 and will now balance his coaching responsibilities with his doctoral studies at the University of the West of England. 

Clark's addition to the staff marks a significant step in shaping the Bullets' approach for the season to come.
