Culture change led by coaches
Kingdom also highlighted the culture encouraged by the coaching staff. "I think [Coach Warner] should have been nominated [for Coach of the Year]. I think our record didn't compete with other teams, but if you look at the turnaround and the culture he's now built in Prague, that it's so valuable – now that Prague, no matter what happens, they're gonna keep getting better and better and better. So that's a testament to the kind of coach he is and the coaches he brought in to help him out," he said.
Support beyond the field
Off the field, Kingdom expressed gratitude for the support that helped him achieve his strong rookie season. "I'm just forever grateful for the Prague Lions organization for giving me an opportunity. I really appreciate it and obviously my family for all the support. Couldn't do it without them."
Kingdom named 2025 ELF Defensive Rookie of the Year
For his standout performance, Kingdom was recognized as the 2025 ELF Defensive Rookie of the Year. On winning the award, he commented: "It's awesome. It's a blessing really. All the hard work paid off and now it's good momentum for next season."
With such a strong performance in his rookie season, Kingdom looks set to stay a main figure of the Prague Lions' defense for years to come. After achieving a positive overall record for the first time this season, the team seems ready to build on that success – raising expectations that the Prague Lions could become serious playoff contenders in the European League of Football in the coming years.
