The Vienna Vikings have reached the Championship Game of the European League of Football (ELF) for the second time since 2022. The Austrians, who are still unbeaten this season, defeated the Paris Musketeers in the Semifinal on Saturday in a highscoring game with 47-31.

Quarterback Ben Holmes and Tight End Florian Bierbaumer were the outstanding players in an overall impressive Vikings' offense at the Generali Arena in Vienna. Bierbaumer secured two important touchdowns for the 2022 Champions in the first half with his strong physicality and added another one in the second half.

The Vikings advance to the final game of the ELF on 22 September in the Veltins Arena in Schalke/Gelsenkirchen. The opponent will be determined on Sunday (15:15 CET) between Rhein Fire and Stuttgart Surge.
