Hot Take Friday: Battle for Austria and more

Dawid Brzozowski will rush for 150+ yards in a win against the Thunder
On Saturday, playoff fate will be on the line for both the Berlin Thunder and the Wroclaw Panthers. After Dawid Brzozowski rushed for 213 yards and a touchdown in their Week 3 encounter, the 21-year-old standout is poised for another game changing performance. The Thunder rushing defense is among the worst in the league and the Panthers will take full advantage of that with their young phenom rushing for more than 150 yards in a potentially playoff clinching victory.
Battle for Austria will be decided by two scores
Since joining the European League of Football, the Vienna Vikings have not lost a single game against the Tirol Raiders and are standing at a perfect 3-0 in the Battle for Austria. This streak won’t end this weekend, as the 2022 champions will bounce back from a mediocre performance against the Panthers and once again beat their rivals. With Joe Dolincheck still needing time to get used to his new team, the Vikings will beat the Raiders by two scores in Austria’s most prestigious football duel.
Munich Ravens beat the undefeated Rhein Fire
As of lately, the Munich Ravens are one of the hottest teams in the league. After a heartbreaking one-point-loss to the Raiders, in which they were shut out during the second half, the Ravens defeated the Helvetic Guards and Stuttgart Surge ending their second-half slump seemingly once and for all. The Ravens played a great first game against Rhein Fire and only lost due to their endurance struggles. With those out of the way, I believe that Munich will surprise a lot of people and defeat the undefeated Rhein Fire in an intense and close game.
