Hot Take Friday: 200+ yards and five sack performance
Dominik Krauss

Week 1 is right ahead, so here are my three Hot Takes for this weekend.
Silas Nacita will have more than 200 yards on offense
It is no secret that Silas Nacita has been one of my favorite signings of this off-season. The electrifying playmaker has proven in the past that he is a threat at every position on offense and I believe that he will put Europe on notice once again. Against the Barcelona Dragons, the former Baylor Bear will have more than a combined 200 yards on offense and will lead the Helvetic Guards to a victory over last year’s Southern Conference champions.
James Brooks will kickstart his defensive player of the year campaign
James Brooks is one of the most underrated players in this league and I can’t stress it enough. Brooks has been dominant in Japan for almost a decade now and he will be one of the premier pass rushers in the European League of Football. Although he is 34-years-old, the former Sun Devil is not slowing down and will kickstart his DPOY campaign against the Leipzig Kings’ offensive tackle duo.

Sea Devils will have five or more sacks against the Panthers
The Hamburg Sea Devils have been known for one thing in the past: their stellar defense. And although I think that the defense is not nearly as good as last year’s, one thing will most likely stay the same. Their pass rush will be outstanding. With Yeboah, Mati, Lachmann, Bombek and Grube, the Sea Devils have a lot of weapons to take the opposing quarterback down. I believe that the Panthers’ offensive line will struggle to protect Matthew Vitale against a pass rush as good as the Sea Devils’.
