Holiday Wishlist - ELF West divison
As the holidays are around the corner, we thought we would get in the festive spirit and take a look at what some of the ELF teams may have on their holiday wish list, regardless of how naughty or nice they were.
Starting off the with the ELF West division:
The Rhein Fire has moved to the North division, giving the Paris Musketeers an excellent chance of winning the West division. Last season, the Rhein Fire was the only team to beat the Musketeers in the regular season as they finished with an impressive 10-2 record.
After Brandon Gregg left the team mid-season last year due to health issues, veteran coach Jag Bal took over in Cologne. Bal was able to make noise with big wins over the Frankfurt Galaxy. However, so far this off-season, the Centurions remain without a head coach going into 2025. Could we see them bring back Jag Bal?
The Surge have a unique opportunity in 2025 as the ELF championship will be in Stuttgart this spring. The Surge were probably 2 or 3 plays away from being in the championship for two consecutive seasons. They will have a very good chance of playing for the trophy next September in front of their home fans.
The Galaxy have a tough division with the Surge and Musketeers. They will also face the Madrid Bravos and the Nordic Storm in the inter-divisional games. Fans have to wonder how good they can be? With a tough schedule ahead of them, the Galaxy have a lot of work to do after a 4-8 schedule last year.
