After seven years, Munich is getting one of its best receivers back. ELF veteran Lorenz Regler is joining his hometown franchise for the 2024 season. 

Regler started his football career in 2013 with the Munich Cowboys, where he hit the ground running. Not even a year later, the now 27-year-old was part of the Bavarian youth All-Star team and was part of the GFL team by 2016. He joined the Ingolstadt Dukes in 2017, leading all receivers on the team in every major category, and continued to be an impact player in 2018. 

For the 2019 season, Regler joined Thomas Kösling’s Frankfurt Universe, where he made the GFL semi-final and followed his coach to the newly founded Frankfurt Galaxy in 2021. In his three seasons with Frankfurt, the Munich native caught 93 passes for 1270 yards and 16 touchdowns and won the 2021 ELF Championship Game with the Galaxy.

Now, Regler is reuniting with his good friend and longtime teammate Marvin Rutsch down in Bavaria to help bring a championship “hoam” to Munich.
