Helvetic Mercenaries sign former All-Star Kevin Fortes

The Helvetic Mercenaries will have to make up for their performance from the previous week, now playing against the Milano Seamen this weekend. After a bye week, they have now found a real reinforcement. Kevin Fortes will complement the Swiss defensive backfield. The 26-year-old Frenchman previously played for the Hamburg Sea Devils and briefly for the Madrid Bravos before parting ways.

Good asset for the Mercenaries

Fortes collected 65 tackles and strong safety over two seasons in Hamburg and was also a strong player in pass defense with five interceptions. In Switzerland, he will complement a defense with Tim Hänni, Ken Hike Jr. and Nazir Streater.
