The Munich Ravens thrilling win last Sunday over the Stuttgart Surge was perhaps one of the biggest wins in the team’s three year history.
The Munich Ravens and Surge have become one of the ELF’s most exciting matchups with several nail bitting finishes over the past three seasons. After losing to the Surge 36-28 in week 4. Munich responded with a huge at home against their fierce rivals this sunday.
The win moves them to 5-1 with their only loss being to the Surge. They currently sit at the top of the South division and are number 2 in the playoff seedings.
A thrilling offense:
New quarterback Russell Tabor seems to be growing into one of the stars of the ELF as the ELF Rookie has been a marvel, tearing defenses apart with his arm and his legs. Stars such as Phillip Okonkwo, Justin Rodney, and Malik Stanley have all stepped up in a big way to give the Ravens a high flying offense.
Can the defense rise to the challenge?
Head coach Kendral Ellison is known for his defensive prowess. Whether its veterans like Wael Nasri and Kevin Titz, or young talent like Isaac M’Bra and Joseph Darkwa. The Ravens have built a defensive unit that has the potential to take on the league’s best.
What’s next?
The Ravens will take on the Bravos this weekend in a huge divisional game. They still have two matchups against a red hot Bravos team that could decide the division winner. Munich also has to travel to Tirol to take on the Raiders in week 10 and face the Panthers twice.
