Hamburg unlucky with injuries - Rhein Fire turns game
ELF

Rhein Fire had to wait a long time for the decisive scores against the Hamburg Sea Devils in Game Week 10 of the European League of Football. But in the end the touchdowns came - in the 3rd and 4th quarter. Rhein Fire won 25:13 for their fifth victory of the season.
Rhein Fire (5-4) at Hamburg Sea Devils (2-7): 13-25
Bitter news for Hamburg: Quarterback Micah Leon had to leave the field again in the second quarter due to injury. Hamburg were then without regular playmaker. Hamburg's attacking options were severely limited due to that fact. Nazir Streater (defensive back) and Terryon Robinson (wide receiver) took the snaps in Leon's place. The Sea Devils had to rely almost exclusively on runs by Chrisman Kyei or Joshua Jacob. They fought boldly, but in the end it was not enough to keep the lead.
On the other side, Rhein Fire's quarterback Chad Jeffries was the standout performer of the game, throwing for 371 yards and 4 touchdowns.
"We have to finish off the attacks better"
Rhein Fire wide receiver Harlan Kwofie was not happy with the game, although his team won and he achieved 1 touchdown and 153 receiving yards: "I think we still have to make a lot of adjustments. There were too many mistakes in the first half - we have to finish off the attacks better. We have to keep stepping on the gas in training so that games like this don't fall out of our hands. In the playoffs, we have to finish off the attacks."
Rhein Fire still has a chance to get to the playoffs.
