Hamburg Sea Devils sign former Swedish college wide receiver Theodor Landström

With Theodor Landström, the Hamburg Sea Devils have signed an exceptional Swedish player for their offense and a big target for Javarian Smith. The 24-year-old wide receiver comes from the Barcelona Dragons, where he played a central role in the offense last season with 805 yards and eight touchdowns. Born in Gothenburg, the 1.94 m tall athlete has already played for Clarion University and the renowned RIG Academy, while also catching passes for the Telfs Patriots or Carlstad Crusaders in National leagues before that.

A new jersey for Landström

"Becoming a Sea Devil means a lot to me. I couldn't be more excited to join a team with a winning tradition. I'm really grateful for this opportunity and can't wait to get to work and compete for a championship for the city of Hamburg," explains Theodor Landström, who was also European runner-up with Sweden in 2021. Miguel Boock, Director of Sports: "Theo is an offensive weapon. I'm very happy to see Theo in the Sea Devils jersey because he showed what caliber he is last season and gave opposing defenses a lot of headaches."
Landström joins quarterback Javarian Smith and wide receiver Jarvis McClam in Hamburg.
