Hamburg Sea Devils sign former European Champion Tamsir Seck
The Hamburg Sea Devils have strengthened their Receiver corps. Wideout Tamsir Seck will wear the blue and red jersey next season.
"This is a lifetime opportunity. To play at the highest level for an historic team like the Sea Devils, with a great culture, a great fan base and under the guidance of a great coach is everything that an athlete could ask for", Seck explains. He adds: "I can’t wait to do everything that’s in my power to contribute to the team success!"
Over the years, the experienced Wide Receiver has seen a lot of Football. Mostly in Europe, but also in the USA. It all started at the Black Rivoli in his home country, Italy, in 2010. After that he moved to the Giaguari Torino. In 2015, he had the opportunity to attend Sandhills High School Titans in the United States. After two years, he decided to stay in the United States and joined the University of North Carolina.
In 2021, he was able to represent Italy in the European Championship, where he was even able to win the title. After his time in the USA, he returned to Italy and also to the Giaguari Torino. In 2022, he moved to the German Football League to join New Yorker Lions, just to move on to the Milano Seamen one year later.
In the European League of Football, Seck played eight games and recorded 35 receptions for 347 yards and a touchdown. After one more year with the Giaguari Torino, he's now back in the ELF.
