Philipp Markulin stays in Hamburg and joins the Sea Devils for the upcoming season. The experienced defensive tackle made a name for himself with the Hamburg Huskies.

“I'm delighted to be part of this great club,” explains Markulin. He adds: “This is a dream come true for me, I can compete with Europe's best. I'm ready to give my all to be successful with the team and make the fans proud.” 

The Homegrown joined the Huskies' second team in 2017. Through hard work, he not only made his way to the first team, but also to success. In 2023, he was voted his team's best defensive player. 

Now the move to the European League of Football and to the Sea Devils, who are looking to celebrate new successes after a disappointing last season.
