Hamburg Sea Devils re-sign Shalom Baafi

The Hamburg Sea Devils have re-signed offensive lineman, Hamburg Sea Devils sign Shalom Baafi. The experienced German offensive lineman joins new head coach Shuan Fatah as the Sea Devils look to bounce back in 2025 after a disappointing 2024 season.

Size and experience

Baafi bring size at 195cm and 137kg, and experience having played for Hamburg, Leipzig, and Mexico Military Institute Junio College in the USA the past few seasons. The Hamburg native is able to fill in at guard or tackle wherever his team needs him too as he and the Sea Devils hope to build on the 2024 season and get back into the playoff hunt for 2025. The 25 year-old will be a key piece to head coach Shuan Fatah's offense next summer.

Baafi is one of several homegrown players the Sea Devils have re-signed as they bring back defensive back Lasse Meyer, running back Lucas Harting Candido, kicker Eric Schlomm, running back Joshua Jacobs, tight end John Levi-Kruse, and lineman Joshua Köhnlein.
