The Hamburg Sea Devils are bringing back Leon Kusterer. The 26-year-old wide receiver signs a contract for the upcoming season.

Kusterer began his football journey with the Hamburg Huskies. After seven years, he joined the Sea Devils in 2021 for the first season in the history of the European League of Football. 

After just four appearances as a back-up, he moved to the Leipzig Kings in 2022. He also took on a back-up role here. Nevertheless, he caught twelve passes for 133 yards. In 2023, he played for Rhein Fire, with whom he became ELF champion for the first time.

He returned to the Sea Devils in 2024. Here he was allowed to play his first game as a starter. Last season, he caught 15 passes for 176 yards and two touchdowns.
