Galaxy stun unbeaten Nordic Storm

The Frankfurt Galaxy kept their slim playoff hopes alive in Week 11 with a huge 35-20 win against the previously unbeaten Nordic Storm, handing the North Division champions their first loss of the season.

Galaxy take control early

Frankfurt came out strong and immediately put the Storm under pressure. In the first quarter, linebacker Toby Naylorintercepted Nordic quarterback Jadrian Clark and returned it for a touchdown, giving the Galaxy an early lead. It was the first of several interceptions that would define the game.

While the Storm managed to close the gap after trailing 10-0, the Galaxy offense, led by quarterback Jameson Wang, kept delivering big plays. On the other side, Clark - who has been excellent all season - had a tough outing, throwing three more interceptions, including another pick-six, this time by Louis Achaintre.

Storm rally falls short

The Nordic Storm tried to mount a late comeback, closing the gap to 15 points, but the Galaxy defense held strong and prevented any serious threat. With this victory, Frankfurt not only earned revenge for their earlier loss to the Storm but also became the first team this season to defeat Nordic.

Defensive heroes

The Galaxy defense was the story of the night. Alongside Naylor and Achaintre, who each scored on interceptions, Enrico Chagoya also added a key interception, making life miserable for the Storm offense.

What’s next

Both teams now head into their bye week. After the break, the Galaxy will face the Prague Lions as they continue to fight for a playoff spot. The Nordic Storm, meanwhile, will host the Hamburg Sea Devils, aiming to bounce back and strengthen their position for one of the top two playoff seeds.
