Galaxy re-sign Homegrown DBs Chagoya and Brand

There will be two familiar faces in the Frankfurt Galaxy backfield in the coming season. The Homegrowns defensive backs Enrico Chagoya and Sebastian Brand have each signed a new contract. 

Chagoya joined Galaxy last season. He previously played for the Darmstadt Diamonds and Frankfurt Universe. The 22-year-old played in eight of his twelve ELF games as a starter. Chagoya made 55 tackles, including one for loss, one pass deflection and one interception. 

Brand, on the other hand, has been part of the Galaxy since 2023. While the 24-year-old took on a backup role in his first season, he was also repeatedly deployed as a starter last season. In 19 ELF games, Brand secured 37 tackles, including one for loss, one interception and four pass deflections.
