From college to Stuttgart: Surge sign TE Roberto Miranda
Stuttgart Surge continues to invest in their offense. The German team has signed Roberto Miranda, who has already gained several years of football experience at US college level. The Berlin-born tight end played for the Arizona Wildcats, who play in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision in the Pac-12.
From 2020 to 2024, Miranda played 35 games for the University of Arizona team, in the highest division of the US college system. Due to strong performances, Miranda was honored with the Pac-12 Fall Academic Honor Roll in both 2022 and 2023.
Before his time in the States, the German-Portuguese played for the Berlin Rebels. Now his return to Germany. Miranda is facing an exciting season with the Stuttgart Surge. After all, the 2025 Championship Game will take place on September 7th in the MHP Arena in Stuttgart.
