Frankfurt Galaxy has signed great homegrown talent. With Eddy Omozokpea, Finn Schwarzkopf and Benedikt Mons, three German youth national team players have signed with the team.

Schwarzkopf already knows the city and the facilities. The safety has already played for the Galaxy in 2023, where he already had the opportunity to play an ELF game. Last season, he was captain of the U20 team for the Bad Homburg Sentinels in the GFLJ. The young defensive player also plays for the U19 German national team.

"I’m looking forward to playing for the Galaxy, playing in front of the best fans in Europe and taking this organization back to the top where it belongs!", says Schwarzkopf.

Here he already played together with linebacker Omozokpea, who also signed with the Galaxy. The Homegrown previously played for the Troisdorf Jets and Düsseldorf Panthers. He is set to make his ELF debut this upcoming season.

Mons: "I am truly blessed for the opportunity"

Benedikt Mons began his career with the Marburg Mercenaries. The wide receiver also played for the Hessen selection and the Bad Hombug Sentinels. Like his new teammates, the young wideout also plays in the U19 German national team.

"I am grateful and excited to announce that I will be part of the Frankfurt Galaxy roster next year. A huge thank you to Coach K and Lorenz for their long-lasting trust and support during the recruitment process", explains Mons. He adds: "As a rookie who could have played another year in the GFLJ I am truly blessed for the opportunity to compete alongside experienced players and learn from them. At the same time, I want to give back and do my part to contribute to a successful season. 2025 let’s get it."
