Frankfurt Galaxy has signed Swedish linebacker Hugo Dyrendahl to their 2024 roster. The former Barcelona Dragon has since played for the Telf Patriots and Dresden Monarchs, accounting for 107 tackles in 12 games in 2023, getting on the radar again for teams in Europe's biggest competition.

"It will be exciting to be a part of an organization with such a rich history and amazing fan base like Frankfurt. I am really looking forward to wearing the purple on the pitch," said Dyrendahl.

"Hugo has made a name for himself over the last 2 years with very strong performances. He is a secure tackler and has a very good understanding of the game. At the age of 24, he has already gained a lot of experience in Europe and will be able to continue his strong development in Frankfurt," said Head Coach Thomas Kösling.
