Frankfurt Galaxy re-sign standout defensive back Joshua Poznanski

He came and he intercepted everything! Joshua Poznanski is back in Frankfurt for the upcoming European League of Football season. The 26-year-old safety made 57 total tackles, five tackles for loss, five interceptions and deflected eleven passes. As a fan favorite, he produced enough highlights to make it into every highlight-reel.
Pozanski was voted into the ALL STAR Team of the European League of Football and won the European League of Football Championship Game alongside his teammates and the Galaxy.

"Your support in 2021 was over the top - I couldn't be more proud of my home. Let's go one better in 2022. Frankfurt has tasted blood!" said Pozanski in the press release.

Dynamic player on the field

He led the Galaxy to a fenomenal win in week 9, beating the Panthers in Wroclaw with 36:7, scoring two pick six' and winning the CHIO MVP title as the first ever European.

No. 14 was all over the field, challenging the opposing offenses not to throw at him. The Galaxy defense looks more and more solid with Gauthier already re-signed and Wael Nasri joining from the Thunder.

"Josh is the head of our secondary and has extremely high playmaking intelligence. His 2 pick 6 against the Panthers was just another example of why he is one of the best German safeties." announced Head Coach Thomas Kösling happily.

Interesting to see how the Galaxy will establish their game in the new Central Conference featuring the Raiders Tirol, Vienna Vikings and former new competitor Stuttgart Surge.
