Frankfurt Galaxy re-sign linebacker duo Williams & Gabriel

Frankfurt Galaxy continue to work on their squad for the 2025 ELF season and have now made two more decisions for their defense. Linebackers Anthony Keith Williams and Simeon Gabriel have each signed a new contract with the Galaxy.

Williams has been part of the team since 2022. The 28-year-old previously played for the Bad Homburg Sentinels. He has already played 30 games for Frankfurt Galaxy in the European League of Football. He made 30 tackles, including 1.5 for loss. Williams also recovered a fumble.

"Year four - Iron sharpens iron. Us against everyone else. Let’s get the job done’, says Williams.

Simeon Gabriel, on the other hand, has been part of the team since 2023. The Swiss also played for the Stuttgart Scorpions from 2018 to 2020 and the Wiesbaden Phantoms from 2020 to 2022. The 24-year-old appeared in 23 games for the Galaxy, in which he made 42 tackles, including 3.5 for loss and 3.5 sacks. He also caught an interception, which he returned for a touchdown.

"Feels great to be back for another year!", says Gabriel. He adds: "New year, same Goal! Let's get it purple Family! Go Galaxy!"

With the signings, Frankfurt Galaxy retain two experienced back-ups for their defense.
