Frankfurt Galaxy face biggest game since 2021

It might be the biggest game of the Frankfurt Galaxy since the Championship Game in 2021. Jakeb Sullivan, quarterback of the Galaxy, and his offense showed promising actions in the last few weeks. An upwards trend that comes at the right time. With more than 10,000 fans in the stadium against Rhein Fire, another huge party in the purple hell is expected this Saturday. Having over 400 yards in total offense against a strong Rhein Fire defense speaks volumes on the potential of Patrick Griesheimer's offense, including studs like Lorenz Regler, Nico Strahmann or Norman Schumm, added to game changers like Sullivan or Reece Horn. While last season was used as a build up for the future, Frankfurt seems to be back on the right track for the final weeks of 2023.

Winning the turnover battle

Defensively though, the Galaxy has to be more disruptive in the Wildcard round. Players like Karlis Brauns, Wael Nasri or Tony Anderson have the chance to change the course of the game, with Jamalcom Liggins shutting down Aaron Jackson or Robin Wilzeck in the open field. The Frankfurt Galaxy have what it takes to make it to the Semifinals yet again. Having extended head coach Thomas Kösling for 2024 could bring even more motivation. Are they able to win the battle against a Thunder team that made their first playoff appearance in three years?
